LEO MESSI FIRST 24HOUR AT PSG

PSG have released an all-access video of Lionel Messi's first day as he travelled from Barcelona to Paris and met his new team-mates and manager.

The 34-year-old put pen to paper on a mega £1million-a-week two-year deal on Tuesday amid much clamour and excitement in the French capital.

And the Ligue 1 giants have released a nine-minute long behind-the-scenes video showing Messi's dramatic 24 hours, including his plane journey, medical and meeting the likes of Georginio Wijnaldum and Mauricio Pochettino in the evening.

The video begins by recording Messi's journey from Barcelona to Paris on a private jet, accompanied by his wife, Antonela, and three kids.

He then touches down in the French capital and waves to passionate supporters from the window of the airport.

The 34-year-old then undergoes a thorough medical test, with routine checks and fitness readings all included.

With shots from inside the car taxying Messi from place to place too, he then arrives at the Parc des Princes and wears the PSG kit - with Messi and the No 30 on the back of the shirt - for the first time.

Later in the evening, he meets new team-mate Wijnaldum - who also joined as a free agent this summer - and also manager Pochettino, who only joined himself in January.

He then poses for the cameras once again as he signs his contract alongside PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi, with sporting director Leonardo also present on a momentous day for the French club.

PSG are holding a press conference on Wednesday morning when the world will directly hear from Messi for the first time since his move.

TOP 10 NIGERIAN SONGS OF THE WEEK:

Omah Lay’s 'Understand' is trending At No. 1

while Lojay & Sarz’s Monalisa” enters the top ten for the first time

Omah Lay’s “Understand” has spent it third week at No. 1 on the TurnTable Top 50, ensuring that all of the artiste’s No. 1s on the chart have now spent at least 3 weeks each.

The Top 50 blends all-genre freemium streaming (Top Streaming Chart), radio airplay (Top Airplay Chart) and TV airplay (TV Top Songs Chart) in Nigeria. All charts will be dated and updated on Mondays, this week’s chart will be revealed on Tuesday, August 10, 2021

“Understand” tallied 48.7 million in radio reach (down 6%), launched with 529,000 in TV reach and drew 2.03 million equivalent streams (up 27%).

The increase in streams comes after the premiere of its official video on Friday July 30. “Understand” spends a third week at the summit of the chart.

Adekunle Gold’s “Sinner” with Lucky Daye rises 4-2 on the TurnTable Top 50 after tallying 36.3 million in radio reach (up 8%), 1.18 million equivalent streams (down 3.3%) and 9.43 million in TV reach (up 121%).

“Sinner” continues its impressive run on the chart as Adekunle Gold’s (and Lucky Daye’s) highest charting single.

Ladipoe & Buju’s former 5-week No. 1, “Feeling” slides to No. 3 while Olamide’s “Rock” is down 3-4 after topping the chart for three weeks.

Ruger’s “Bounce” is up one rung, moving 6-5 to complete this week’s top five.

AV’s “Big Thug Boys” falls to No. 6 from its No. 5 peak while Patoranking’s “Celebrate Me” moves to a new peak of No. 7. “Celebrate Me” continues to enjoy massive airplay on TV and radio in Nigeria, occupying the No. 3 on the TV chart and No. 13 on radio chart.

Rounding out this week’s top ten of the Top 50; Fireboy DML’s “Peru” shoots up to No. 8 after debuting at No. 10 last week; Rema’s “Soundgasm” falls 8-9 after peaking at No. 3 while Lojay & Sarz’s “MONALISA” rockets to No. 10.

“Monalisa” is the first top ten for Lojay while Sarz becomes the fourth producer to record a top ten entry as a lead artiste – joining Rexxie, JAE5 and Masterkraft. “Monalisa” tallied 30.2 million in radio reach (up 2%) and 294,000 equivalent streams (up 50%).

Interestingly, Sony Music through its UK and West Africa division has now sent five songs to the top ten without any streams coming from Audiomack; Becky G & Burna Boy’s “Rotate,” Gyakie’s “Forever (Remix),” JAE5’s “Dimension,” Ruger’s “Bounce” and Lojay & Sarz’s “Monalisa”

This is even more impressive considering only two other songs have achieved this feat – UMG/Def Jam’s Justin Beiber’s “Peaches” and “Loved by You.”

All chart news will be available @TurntableCharts on Twitter while component charts such as Top Streaming Chart and Top Airplay Chart; and Top Triller Chart Nigeria will be updated on Tuesday, August 10, 2021

BEN AFFLECK AND JENNIFER LOPEZ HOUSE HUNTING AT $85 MILLION ESTATE

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were on the hunt Tuesday for a house, and there are real signs they're looking to buy something together.

According to TMZ J Lo and Ben were all over the L.A. area, and one of the homes they looked at is eye-popping. It's a Beverly Hills estate listed for $85 million, and it's incredible.

The main house is 38,000 square feet and has 12 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, and an indoor sports complex complete with a basketball court and boxing ring, a massive pool, and on and on. There's also a "guest penthouse" and a caretaker's house. There's also a 2 bedroom guardhouse. It has parking for 80 guests.

Our sources say it looks like this is a house not just for Jen but for them.

The couple then went over the hill to the San Fernando Valley, where they looked at the former Bob Hope estate in Toluca Lake. The house is currently owned by tycoon Ron Burkle and is listed for $40 million. It sits on 5 acres and even has a 1-hole golf course.

The fact they're looking at massive homes -- especially the one in Beverly Hills -- is further evidence they are going to move in together. Jen has a home in Bel-Air which she loves, so the only reason for moving is more space. Ben has a home in Pacific Palisades.

They've been looking together for a while now, and all signs point to a blended family in their future.

Barack Obama Dances the Night Away ... At 60th Birthday Bash

The term "scaled back" is all relative, because Barack Obama's 60th birthday bash was still a bash, with what appeared to be several hundred party revelers on hand to celebrate.

There were tons of celebs who showed ... including Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Bradley Cooper, Don Cheadle, Gabrielle Union, Dwyane Wade, Erykah Badu, Steven Colbert, Bruce Springsteen and more.

The former Prez hit the dance floor under the massive tent ... without a mask. As you know, the CDC, Dr. Fauci and many other experts have urged people to wear masks inside because of the Delta variant, and it's already drawing criticism.

The party looked super fun ... but the plan to keep things under wraps crashed and burned early on, as Erykah Badu and others posted photos and videos of the event.

Napkins of the event were embossed with the numbers, 44x60 ... the 44, obviously, refers to his presidency, and the 60 is obvious.

Partygoers even took shots of the bathroom, with a lint roller, Advil and antiperspirant ... frankly the sign of a good party.

The food and drinks looked pretty amazing ... lots of the food was vegetarian, but there was reportedly an oyster bar which is requisite fare for a Martha's Vineyard soiree.

Obama hit the dance floor for quite some time, dressed casually as he made the rounds.

Alicia Keys and John Legend both sang Happy Birthday to 44.

The party snarled traffic around the island, at when it started winding down at 1 AM Sunday, one officer was overheard calling traffic a "s*** show."

So, a good night was had by all present, but there's certainly a measure of controversy over the size of the bash and the absence of masks inside.
